The Polished Titanium Plate Gr2 was designed to avoid this. Its surface is already smooth and clean, which means less rework and faster assembly. At the same time, it keeps all the advantages of Grade 2 titanium-light weight, easy welding, and long-term stability in seawater and chemical media.

Q1: Should I choose one-side or two-side polished plates?
A1: For gasket faces or covers, one-side polishing is usually sufficient. Two-side polishing is helpful when both faces contact seals or flow.
Q2: What roughness is recommended for sealing?
A2: Ra ≤0.8 μm is common for soft gaskets. For metallic gaskets, a tighter finish may be better. We can adjust polishing based on your gasket type.
Q3: Does polishing reduce corrosion resistance?
A3: No. Polished plates maintain inherent Gr2 corrosion resistance. After fabrication, a light pickling/passivation can restore the oxide film if needed.
Q4: Can the plates be acid-cleaned after use?
A4: Yes. Based on our work with chemical plant users, we recommend keeping HCl concentration under 5% and temperature below 60 °C for safe cleaning.
Q5: Do you accept small trial orders?
A5: Yes, we can supply small cut-to-size pieces for prototypes or maintenance needs.
