They are widely used in electrochlorination, hypochlorite generation, and industrial water treatment applications.

Ruthenium–iridium (Ru–Ir) coated titanium anodes are mixed metal oxide (MMO) anodes designed for efficient chlorine evolution and stable operation in chloride-containing electrolytes. By combining the high catalytic activity of ruthenium oxides with the enhanced durability contributed by iridium, Ru–Ir coatings provide a balanced solution for applications requiring low operating voltage and reliable long-term performance.

 

Supported by a corrosion-resistant titanium substrate, Ru–Ir coated anodes offer excellent electrochemical stability, uniform current distribution, and good mechanical strength. They are widely used in electrochlorination systems, chlorine and hypochlorite generation, industrial water treatment, and other electrochemical processes where chlorine evolution efficiency and energy consumption are critical factors.

Q1: We operate AR10:1 deep-hole gold plating lines. How should we evaluate anode lifetime?

A: In 250A/m² current density, standard lifetime is ~7,200 hours. For ultra-deep structures, apply a 0.8 correction factor. A free estimation guide is available.

Q2: Can this anode tube be configured for non-standard plating tanks?

A: Yes. We provide slot-matched pipe fitting solutions based on your technical drawings or measurements.

Q3: How do we validate coating performance before use?

A: Each batch includes SEM coating images and EDS reports; test sections are also available upon request.

Q4: Is it okay to use in mixed chloride-fluoride environments?

A: Not recommended if fluoride exceeds 200ppm. We suggest switching to the TA-F variant for chemical compatibility.

Q5: Can I get just a few units for prototype testing?

A: MOQ is 10 pcs, but we support trial orders and help simulate bath performance prior to mass use.
