Overview
MMO titanium anodes (Mixed Metal Oxide Titanium Anodes) are a type of high-performance insoluble anode based on industrial pure titanium or titanium alloy substrates, with a mixed metal oxide coating (such as RuO₂, IrO₂, Ta₂O₅, etc.) applied to the surface through processes such as thermal decomposition or sol-gel methods.
This structure combines the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium with the outstanding electrocatalytic activity of the MMO coating, making it one of the most mature and widely used anode solutions in modern electrochemical systems.

Product Parameter
Tested in 1 mol/L NaCl solution, 150–300 A/m² current density, 25°C:

- ⚠ For Cl⁻ > 50 g/L, limit current density ≤200 A/m²
- ⚠ PH < 5 may reduce coating life by 50%
- ⚠ Not suitable for F⁻ > 100 ppm unless special coating applied
Product Features & Application

Electroplating / Surface Treatment
The workpieces are suspended at fixed intervals in the electrolytic cell, and a uniform coating is achieved on the surface through controlled current density and stable electrolyte circulation.
This process focuses on balancing the electric field distribution, conductivity stability, and fluid renewal to ensure coating adhesion, thickness uniformity, and long-term reliability, making it suitable for various functional and protective surface treatment applications.
Electrochemical oxidation
During the electrochemical oxidation process, the electrode generates highly reactive oxidizing species under an applied electric field, which directly or indirectly decompose organic matter and pollutants in the water or solution.
This process achieves stable oxidation efficiency by controlling current density, electrode spacing, and reaction time, and is commonly used in industrial wastewater treatment, removal of refractory pollutants, and advanced treatment stages of circulating water systems.

Industrial Electrolysis and Special Electrochemistry
Industrial electrolysis and specialized electrochemical processes utilize externally applied electric fields to drive selective reactions, used for material synthesis, metal recovery, and functionalization treatments.
These applications typically require high stability, current load capacity, and long-term operational consistency of the electrode materials, making them suitable for professional electrochemical systems operating under continuous or high-intensity conditions.
Packaging and transportation management

The products undergo independent protective treatment before leaving the factory, using wear-resistant isolation materials for securing them, preventing contact wear or structural deformation during transportation.
Depending on the size and transportation method, the products can be packaged in reinforced wooden crates or on pallets, with necessary moisture-proof and shock-resistant treatments. This is suitable for both sea and land transportation, ensuring that the products arrive in stable condition and are ready for immediate installation and use.

FAQ
Q1: What's the formula to estimate anode lifetime?
A: Use: Lifetime (years) = 15,000 ÷ (A/m² × hours/day × 365). We apply a 20% safety buffer in all quoted lifespans.
Q2: Can you match slot drawings from imported electrolyzers?
A: Yes. We support ±0.3 mm tolerance CAD slot matching for common models like Mitsui MX or Hitachi HC-200.
Q3: What happens under high salinity (>50 g/L)?
A: Coating may degrade faster. Use ≤200 A/m² or switch to Ir–Ta variant for improved chloride tolerance.
Q4: How do I verify coating performance?
A: Each batch includes adhesion & thickness test (ASTM B571). Optional SGS verification on request.
Q5: Is the anode compatible with medical-grade systems?
A: Yes, when paired with ISO 15883-5 compliant reactors and microbial validation protocols.
