MMO titanium anodes (Mixed Metal Oxide Titanium Anodes) are a type of high-performance insoluble anode based on industrial pure titanium or titanium alloy substrates, with a mixed metal oxide coating (such as RuO₂, IrO₂, Ta₂O₅, etc.) applied to the surface through processes such as thermal decomposition or sol-gel methods.

 

This structure combines the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium with the outstanding electrocatalytic activity of the MMO coating, making it one of the most mature and widely used anode solutions in modern electrochemical systems.
