our Product
Grade 4 titanium coil is the highest strength grade among commercially pure titanium alloys. While maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, it possesses higher tensile and yield strength. Compared to Gr1/Gr2, it is more suitable for applications requiring structural stability and load-bearing capacity.
This titanium coil is typically supplied in hot-rolled or cold-rolled forms, offering good dimensional consistency, facilitating continuous cutting, stamping, and forming processes. Its excellent weldability and long-term stability in various media make it widely used in chemical equipment, corrosion-resistant structural components, and heat exchanger system parts.

Product Features & Application

Precision industrial components
Gr4 titanium foil is commonly used in precision industrial components to manufacture high-strength, thin-walled structures such as gaskets, diaphragms, springs, and miniature molded parts. Compared to Gr2, Gr4 offers higher structural strength and dimensional stability while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for precision applications with thickness limitations, high strength requirements, and demands for long-term operational stability.
Heat exchange and heat transfer components
Grade 4 titanium foil is used for plate heat exchanger fins and thermal diaphragms, maintaining stable performance in corrosive media. Its high strength helps the thin plates maintain their shape under pressure and thermal cycling conditions, thus ensuring heat transfer efficiency and long-term reliability.

Packaging & Delivery
Titanium foil is thin. Edge damage and surface scratches are the two main risks during transit.
Our packaging is built around these two points.
Inner Protection
Each sheet separated with PE film or acid-free paper
Edge protectors applied to prevent bending during stacking
Anti-moisture layer included for sea freight shipments
For ultra-thin foil (≤0.1mm), additional rigid flat boards are added to avoid warping.
Outer Packaging
Reinforced export plywood cases
Internal compression-resistant structure
Shock-absorbing layer between stacks
Suitable for air, sea, and express transport
No mixed packing with heavy products.
Before Shipment
Final surface check under strong light
Thickness reconfirmed
Quantity and heat number verified
Packing photos can be provided before dispatch
If your project has specific storage or transport conditions, let us know in advance. Packaging can be adjusted accordingly.

Why Choose Us?
We offer a variety of services
Consistent Composition and Strength
Strict control of interstitial elements such as oxygen and iron ensures consistent strength and predictable batch performance of Gr4 titanium foil.
Reliable Thickness and Flatness Control
Suitable for precision stamping and forming applications, reducing assembly deviations and rework costs.
Customizable Surface Finish
Available with rolled, finished, or precision degreased surfaces to meet different requirements for sealing, heat transfer, and elastic components.
Ideal for High-Strength Thin-Walled Applications
Compared to Gr2, it offers higher structural rigidity at the same thickness, making it suitable for applications involving pressure and thermal cycling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How do you control telescoping during winding?
A1: We use tension-leveled foil, calibrated winding tension, and edge alignment checks per lot. Coil OD, web width, and core ID are matched to your winder to avoid telescoping.
Q2: What burr and particle levels can I expect for clean coating?
A2: Slit edges are ≤0.02 mm burr with optional edge-rounding. Coils are bagged in clean liners and sleeved to reduce particles before entering your coater.
Q3: Can you supply matched coils for left/right edge behavior?
A3: Yes. We can pair coils from the same master roll with mirrored slit geometry to keep edge behavior consistent across dual-web systems.
Q4: What max coil size and ID options are standard?
A4: Typical coil OD ≤ 400–600 mm depending on thickness. Standard IDs are 76 mm and 152 mm; other IDs available upon request.
Q5: Is annealing or special Ra available for adhesion?
A5: We offer bright-annealed and micro-etched finishes. Ra 0.4–1.2 μm is standard, but narrower Ra bands can be targeted for specific coatings.
